Turó D’En Mota Grand Cru

100% Xarel-lo from the 0.97ha single (and greatest) vineyard on the northern slope of the Turó d’En Mota hill. Vines grow on limestone-rich soils and planted in 1940. Vinified in oak barrel with 145 months of aging on lees in bottles under natural cork before disgorgement, hand riddled, zero dosage. Only 4539 bottles produced.

Tasting Note: Aromas of lemon, pear, yellow plum, quince with a hint of brioche, chalk mineral, yeast, and walnuts on the nose. Very complex and layered on the palate with a citrus & orchard fruit core, great richness, bright acidity, creamy texture, soft & fine bubbles, a pleasant lemon pith bitterness on a lengthy finish.
