7 Fuentes El Lance

A blend of 35% Listán Negro, 35% Vijariego Negro, and 30% Castellana Negra from 5 different vineyards on volcanic soils with vines ranging from 10-100 years. Old vines are un-grafted and trained in Cordon Trenzado. Fermented in multiple vessels with indigenous yeast and some whole clusters used. Aged in 500L used French oak and concrete vats for around 9 months.

Tasting Note: 2017 - Aromas of red and black fruit: blackberry, cherry, wild strawberry with crushed stone, herb on the nose. Light to medium body and unctuous on the palate, juicy red/black fruit with wild herb, fresh acidity, fine tannins, with a mineral, dry finish.
