Single vineyard Listán Negro from the El Barranco parcel, which is west facing with clay soils over volcanic rock. Vines average 80-150 years trained in the unique Cordon Trenzado method. Fermented in concrete vats with indigenous yeast and 50% whole cluster, aged in 500L used French oak for 11 months. Candio is the name of a ravine that runs through El Barranco.

Tasting Note: Aromas of raspberry, cherry, red plum with hints of herb, wet stone, spice on the nose. Fresh with good purity and structure on the palate, juicy red fruit and mineral, slightly austere, bright acidity, fine tannin, good length on the finish with herbal notes.
