Lorcher Schlossberg Riesling

Riesling from the single vineyard of Schlossberg in the town of Lorch. Vines average 40-80 years, including some un-grafted vines planted in 1938. Soils are primarily of grey slate and quartzite. Vinified in stainless steel (partial spontaneous ferment) with 6 months on lees 

Tasting Note: Aromas of intense lemon, lime zest with flower, fresh herb, peppery spice on the nose. Lush and rich with a juicy citrus core on the palate, generous, bright acidity, layered and complex, finishing long with salty, spicy notes. Dry/off-dry.
