Lorchhäuser Seligmacher Riesling

Riesling from the single vineyard of Seligmacher in the town of Lorchhäusen. Vines average 50+ years with some being over 100 years. Soils are of grey slate and quartzite. Vinified with both select yeast and spontaneous ferment in stainless steel and aged 7 months on lees.

Tasting Note: Mineral driven on the nose with stony flint and slate with white raisin, lemon aromas. Generous and lush, still tight-knit with ripe citrus and mineral on the palate, lively acidity, balanced, good tension, spicy and salty on the long finish. Off-dry.
