Lorcher Schlossberg Riesling Auslese

Very ripe Riesling from the single vineyard of Schlossberg in the town of Lorch. Vines average 40+ years. Soils are primarily of grey slate and quartzite. Vinified in stainless steel with 6-7 months on lees.

Tasting Note: Aromas of yellow apple, white raisin with white flower, a hint of stone mineral on the nose. Great intensity and freshness with a ripe, sweet fruit core on the palate, the sweetness is balanced by bright acidity, great tension and length on the finish with spice and stone mineral. Sweet.
