Rheingau Lorch Riesling

Riesling from multiple sites surrounding the town of Lorch that include Krone, Schlossberg, Bodenthal, and Kapellenberg. Vines average 40 years grown on grey slate and quartzite soils. Vinified in stainless steel with 7 months on lees.

Tasting Note: Aromas of ripe lemon with crushed stone, fresh herb, flower on the nose. Intense and rich yet still linear on the palate, juicy citrus fruit and mineral core, vibrant acidity, good tension, a long finish that is intense and also aromatic. Dry.
