Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Spätlese

Riesling from the Berkasteler Badstube vineyard which is borders the south of the Graacher Himmelreich vineyard. West-facing slopes are less steep and get a longer afternoon sun exposure. Soils are deeper than the vineyards in Wehlen or Graach, consisting of weathered grey slate and pockets of blue slate and loam. Wines tend to be slightly more delicate in structure and weight but are wonderfully racy and fine.

Tasting Note: 2018 - Aromas of lemon zest, nectarine, apricot, pear, white peach with honey, flint, anise on the nose. Polished and round on the palate with great concentration of fruit, refreshing acidity, perfectly balanced, subtle mineral undertones, great length on the generous finish. medium-dry/medium-sweet.
