Domaine Vigot Fabrice is a little-known gem based in Vosne Romanée. Established in 1990, its beginnings started with a mere 4ha of land with farming contracts helping expand offerings, including farming 1/3 of the vineyards owned by the famous Mugneret Gibourg through a métayage agreement for over 25 years. Now, Fabrice and Christine farm only their own vineyards only with around 6ha in Gevrey, Vosne, Nuits Saint Georges, and Coteaux Bourguignons. Vineyards are farmed organically with the use of biodynamic principles when possible. Harvest is done by hand with the use of whole clusters (depending on the vintage), fermentation with indigenous yeast in stainless steel tanks and aging in 225L tonneaux. The use of new oak is modest ranging from 0-30% depending on the cuvée. Humble, devoted, and passionate vignerons, Fabrice & Christine craft wines with great purity, soul, and always truthful to the terroir.
