Champagne Fumey-Tassin

Paying respect to her great grandfather, Marcel Tassin and the winegrowing history in Celles-Sur-Ource, current owner Marie Tassin and her children, Arthur and Léa now look after operations and vineyards. They work as best as possible to protect the environment which they believe creates a better quality of life. Vines span over 5ha of small parcels on chalk and clay-limestone soils with a Kimmeridgian subsoil believed to contribute to the purity of their wines. Vineyards are planted mostly with Pinot Noir and a bit of Pinot Blanc, farmed with a reasoned approach or “lutte raisonnée”. The focus is on increasing biodiversity and decreasing negative environmental impacts. The motto is, “champagne should be discovered, enjoyed, and shared.” There are 2 ranges of this house: Champagne Fumey Tassin & Champagne Marie Tassin.
