Nestled in the heart of Aÿ, 12th generation Louis Cheval oversees the family-owned, 7ha of Grand Cru vineyards mostly of Pinot Noir. The Gatinois family has been growing since the 1600s and has earned a great reputation for top-quality fruit.  With meticulous care and attention, vineyards are tended to as if they were a garden only using sustainable and responsible practices. Grapes are carefully selected and handled with respect in order to fully express the rich and authentic terroir. Bottles are still hand riddled and hand disgorged, Champagne Gatinois is a quintessential traditionalist estate.
