Meticulous, devoted, and tireless, are just a few words to describe Jean-Philippe of Domaine Jean-Philippe Fichet. He began as a grower in 1981 but made a big step forward in 2000, where his entire operations moved and a new Domaine was created. Now all aspects of vinification and maturation can be managed with great efficiency. Vineyard holdings total 7ha through farming agreements and Domaine holdings, all parcels are managed organically. A true believer that the quality of the wine will come from the quality of work carried out in the vineyards. In the cellar, an 18-month élevage, little new oak, and avoidance of aggressive lees stirring are practiced in the cellar.  Jean-Philippe’s dedication, detail, passion for his craft is evident in his racy, electric wines that explore the expression of terroir.
